Missing Video
I found the video on youtube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQXGBrN3M4Y
I actually really like this video, I even found it kinda funny and the end is a bit odd but definitely the best from Memento Mori so far
Thoughts?

I agree, it's actually really bizarre and awkward, but I find that endearing. It makes me sort of uncomfortable watching it, but that happens whenever I watch my favorite artists' videos. I don't know why.
Oh well, two thumbs up from yours truly.
p.s. that's balcony jump at the end looked fun. I giggled. I probably would have been mature and done it about 20 more times than needed.

Hey Skittles_yum, thanks for the link!
Ugh. Boy.
Well, on the up-side, that was the first time I listened to the song "Missing" in full. :P
Blood, I also feel uncomfortable watching my favourite artists' music videos. I know that for me, the discomfort comes from the fact that I know my favourite artists as people, not well-known musicians, so seeing them dressed up in costumes seems silly to me. Let me elaborate: I've been following Flyleaf since '05. In the past five years, I've come to know the band members as individuals, from the numerous interviews I've read and seen. I pray for the band members, as I love and support their ministry (i.e. the music they make, which I feel is a ministry) and want to also support them. Although I don't know them personally, I feel like I have enough of an understanding of who they are as individuals that for me to view them as celebrities, stars, famous people, etc. is no longer possible. So, when I see them dressed up and acting in music videos, it feels silly to me, as if I'm seeing my friend, who I know personally, pretend to be someone they're not. If my friend was an actor or a model, it'd be a whole other story, because their job is to pretend or to be in "costumes," but in this case, my friend's a musician, so to see them do things the media think is necessary for musicians to do, but really has very little to do with the music, in its purest form, seems strange. That was a very long-winded explanation.
I don't like the 1950s look Flyleaf has going on, but it seems to be ever-so-prevalent with the new album, and it's much better than some of the other options out there, so I can live with it.
Oh, and Blood, you changed your profile pic!!!

More like 1800s look IMO... but yeah, I hear that. I don't think it's a bad look, but they've been rocking it ever since the 'Sorrow' music video, and should probably mix it up a little more.

I'm inept at defining eras. Thanks for pointing out a more accurate time period.
Unfortunately, I don't think it'll change much until a good year or two down the road. It seems like the image is really being pushed with Memento Mori. Even in some of their live shows, the're in the getup.

Yeah this look could get tired easy. But I never really liked the SOrrow vid so I guess it just never really sank in how much they were pushing the whole victorian thing.
I still like the Fully Alive video the bestest.

I like how they were dressed in the Fully Alive video. They looked good.
I haven't liked any of the videos. I can't imagine myself ever liking any music video they release, though. If I had to choose, I'd go for All Around Me because of the symbolism.
Does anyone like the Missing video? Or at least, parts of it? What do people enjoy about it? Let's hear.

I actualy quite like it as it tells a story and narrative videos I find are always better. I did laugh to myself when Lacey was dancing because she looked mega pissed off but I don't really like the ending it looks kinda odd but other than that I really like it.

I like it. I like that it tells us a story and not just the video "we can play instruments". and Lacey is so beautiful, so many intresting appearances (don't know how exactly to say that in english)
